Born and raised in East LA, I am a proud first-generation graduate and military service member. Growing up, I learned the importance of familia, a value deeply rooted in Latino culture and shared across all the diverse backgrounds that make this nation great. My family sacrificed everything to build a better future in this country, and I carry their strength and determination with me in everything I do.
